Merchandising and Design
Each Randa brand has a dedicated merchandising and design team to ensure full alignment to that brand’s DNA. The company maintains extensive archives of patterns, materials, hardware, and finished products for all divisions. A large sample and sewing room is located at the Chicago office allowing new belt and leather goods concepts to be prototyped rapidly. This industry-unique resource supports the creative process and expedites the production of new designs to which the market will respond.
The Randa neckwear creative and production processes are supported by technology that allows original hand-colored designs, created at Randa’s Design Center in Como, Italy, to be quickly transferred to a wide variety of fabrics. Once designs are finalized, the art is digitally transferred to Randa’s mills. This highly efficient process allows for new neckwear creations to be in stores in as few as six weeks after creative approval.
Randa luggage has the most advanced product design and industrial engineering team in the travelware industry, crafting brand-aligned unique components for each collection.
To provide retail partners with powerful point-of-sale gift assortments, Randa creates extensive seasonal collections covering a wide range of branded accessories including travel related items, jewelry, personal care, desk accessories, automotive accessories, and personal electronics cases.

Sourcing and Quality Assurance
Sourcing and Quality Assurance teams work closely with merchandising and design to ensure the rapid and accurate
execution of all products.
This department also maintains a supplier base that is certified by Randa, its licensors and retailers. In order to maintain consistent quality, Randa’s QA teams are located overseas near the sources of supply. They inspect

Retail Analysis and Planning
In order to ensure that each Randa customer maximizes their retail sales potential, teams of Randa analysts based in Chicago and Xiamen, China, review live sales data and provide inventory replenishment recommendations at the SKU and door level. Where appropriate, Randa employs its Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) capabilities to create reverse purchase orders and fully manage the inventory process. Top |
Distribution
Randa’s US distribution centers include a 160,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, strategically located less than two miles from the International Cargo hub in New Orleans, LA, and a 230,000 square foot facility located near Port Elizabeth in Totowa, NJ.
The company has intensively invested in advanced information systems, materials handling equipment and the training of personnel to make order fulfillment accurate and economically efficient. With these facilities, Randa can distribute more than two million units monthly, including over 50,000 consumer direct drop shipments.
This capability allows Randa to work in direct partnership with each customer’s buying and planning departments to achieve long-term volume and profit goals.
